The letter “Z” was chosen because Toriyama originally thought Dragon Ball Z would be the final chapter of the series.

(Spoiler: it wasn’t. At all.)

In the early arcs, flying usually required vehicles or special gear.

But Piccolo was the first to demonstrate true flight with his own power—setting a new standard for later battles.

🟢 5. Majin Buu’s Forms Are Named After… Food Sounds!

• “Buu” is a playful sound, often used in Japanese for babies or silly magic.

• Other forms like Super Buu and Kid Buu continue the theme with cartoonish, childish energy—matching his candy-obsessed behavior.
